WP3 overview: Enabling data gathering, analysis and sharing technologies
The objective of this work package is to ensure the necessary infrastructure is in place to capture and integrate the identified data streams from WP2. This requires harmonizing of information models and an integrated information management approach that can interconnect the different levels of the enterprise. An information network will be developed which is capable of ensuring different data streams can effectively communicate with each other. An example of this would be if a particular factory process went off line, that its status would be automatically communicated to the MES system which then automatically updates the planning software. This integration ensures the planner can make an informed decision on how to change the schedule based on real time process plant data.
Through the use of sensors much of this data may be updated in real-time, in many cases it is more practical to discretise data captured to occur at pre-defined intervals. In certain cases, further instrumentation may be necessary to implement live data monitoring of factory processes.
Steps highlighted in this work pack will investigate and implement the most practical solutions for data capture in a new factory and for a pre-existing factory in separate work pack streams. This work package also incorporates the development of software tools that will offer intelligent performance monitoring functionalities by enabling the visualisation of contextualised information in the form of dashboards.

D3.2 Final verification test report - Issued 31-Oct-2017
This report describes the creation of a prototype of the integrated solution which can be used for testing purposes to assure that all the agents involved in the demonstrator platform fulfil the defined requirements. This document is also a verification test report for the prototype and specifically covers the verification use cases to be tested within Demonstrator 2.
D3.3 Dash board software preliminary (beta) release - Issued 20-Dec-2017
This report describes the Message oriented Middleware, the Message Structure and the Interfaces used for communication between all the components in the OPTIMISED solution. Furthermore, a proposal for storage of manufacturing data into a non-SQL Database – HBase and services is described.
D3.4 Dash board software final release - Issued 31-Dec-2017
This deliverable describes the final solutions for all core software components, not only the GUI and Dashboard solutions. This includes: OPTIMISED MoM - Message oriented middleware which enable the factory wide, cross platform data transfer; OPTIMISED Data Storage - storage of all manufacturing data into a non-SQL database – Hbase; OPTMISED GUI and Dashboard - desktop and web-based solutions, which enable the visualization of the data within the factory
D3.5 Final Application documentation - Issued 28-Feb-2018
This document report covers two main areas of development: 1) the development and optimisation of visualisation tools and dashboards; 2) the development of the information management backbone. The document focuses on the implementation of the components for Demonstrators 2 and 3, which were developed based on the system requirements captured in WP1 and the derived software architecture documented in D2.2 and D2.4.
