WP1 overview: Industrial requirements, State of the art review, Use Cases, Validation Scenarios
This work pack will capture the project requirements from which the solution will be developed in WP2. A state of the art review will be carried out which will assess the data management architectures, business planning, logistics and manufacturing operation management applications used in manufacturing sectors across Europe and internationally.
Industrial use cases will be developed with project stakeholders with the aim of defining challenges facing each industrial manufacturing partner and what capability would be required to overcome those challenges.
A gap analysis will then be conducted to compare the results of the review with the current practice used at each industrial demonstrator. This will then be used to frame the particular project requirements with regard to data capture, integration, processing and how this can then be used to optimise the manufacturing system to improve efficiency, quality and safety.
Validation test cases will also be developed to demonstrate that the OPTIMISED solution meets the project system requirements.

This document is a state of the art review for the OPTIMISED project, compiling 112 references and focussed on five topics: Data management architectures; Business planning and logistics; Manufacturing operation management applications; Energy management on industrial environment; DSR (Demand side response) and industrial DSR market mechanisms and ANM (Active Network Management).

This document is a capture of the industrial use cases for the OPTIMISED project. The focus of this report is to define the use cases for each of the three demonstrators.

D1.6 Validation test specification for Demonstrators - Issued 25-Nov-2016
This document is a Validation Test Specification for the OPTIMISED project. This document builds upon the requirements defined within T1.3 (System Requirements capture) to define validation scenarios capable of demonstrating the capability of the OPTIMISED solution to meet the system requirements.
D1.7 Post demonstrator 1 review report- Issued 31-Oct-2017
This report deals with the final review of demonstrator 1 against the defined requirements and validation scenarios. The review ensures that the industrial requirements are satisfied and captures lessons learnt and recommendations for any changes required for Demonstrator 2 and 3.
D1.8 Post demonstration 2 review report - Issued 17-Apr-2018
This report details the final review of Demonstrator 2 against the defined requirements and validation scenarios). The report follows the Demonstrator 2 implementation and ensures that the industrial requirements are satisfied. The report also captures lessons learnt and recommendations for any changes that are required for Demonstrator 3 as part of the overall OPTIMISED project development.
